Onion Samosa



Ingredients:

Flour/Maida – 1 ½  cup
Chatmasala – ½ tsp
chilli powder – 1 tsp
coriander leaves, chopped – 2 tbsp
cumin powder - ½ tsp
Oil to fry
Onions, chopped – 1 cup
Poha / Flattened rice – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Water as required

Method:

Take a bowl add maida/flour, salt,1 tsp oil mix well then add water to make a soft dough rest it for 20 mins.

Now in another bowl, add onions, poha, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander leaves, chat masala mix well.

In a small bowl add 1tsp of maida mix with some water and make a paste keep a side.

Now take the dough make a thin roti’s/sheets and cook them in a pan slightly on both the sides do not cook more. Once roti’s are ready cut the roti sheets into half and fold it into a triangle shape. Apply maida paste on the sides to prevent it from opening; this will look like a cone now. Then stuff the mixture in the cone then close the edge with the maida paste.

Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them. Cook on a slow heat till it turns golden brown. Serve with Coffee or Tea.
